The Retreat Experience
"Research supports group work as deeply beneficial for healing and growth - often in ways that individual therapy alone cannot reach."
I have developed and facilitated retreats grounded in mindfulness, self-compassion, and depth psychology - intimate, immersive experiences designed to slow people down and bring them into genuine contact with themselves.
My background in clinical group work informs everything I bring to this space. Years of facilitating schema therapy groups in inpatient settings, working with people carrying complex trauma, taught me something that no retreat training can fully replicate: how to hold a group when the material is real, when defences are down, and when what surfaces needs to be met with both skill and steadiness.
Retreats, at their best, are not escapes. They are invitations to arrive more fully - in the body, in the truth of this moment, in relationship with others who are trying to do the same.
